Tap it with something and see if it makes an impression. Could be led, but a little diff texture. Will a magnet stick to it?

When asking "what is it"on something should always include clear pictures of all sides, top, and bottom.

Post sharp closeup photos of both the front and the back.

2. State the actual size of the item. Also, if possible, put something with it in the photo for scale: a common U.S. coin, a ruler, etc.

3. If there are any inscriptions which cannot be easily read in the photos, type them in full in your post.

4. If there are maker's marks, numbers, symbols, or other marks on the back which are not easily seen in the photo, post a closeup or a drawing of them.

with the point above the eye reminds me of a cat. Could Be mexican Street art though. or something someone is trying to pass off as Aztec. or real Aztec. stranger things have happened Looks Metal To Me.

may be a relic or a copy. I won't go out on that Limb.
Other then say it's a Keeper till an Expert gets to Handle it and say for sure. Good Score
