Found this on my hunt yesterday, the width is the size of a pencil, the length is as long as your pinky finger.

It has a hexagon shape with a pink rubber thing inside, it was about 2 - 3 inches deep.

It appears to be brass or copper because of the green tarnish. Any ideas??

The center pic makes me think of some sort of a lipstick thing that when you get to the bottom of the lipstick there is a little post that goes up and down where the lipstick is mounted on. Also the angled end reminds me of the angle that lipstick has on it so lipstick container is my guess.

Could be any of those. The pink thing is rubber. Maybe I should pull it out.

im thinking its from an old split bamboo fishing/fly rod.

either for connecting two sections or where the bamboo was

inserted into the handle.
