Help on another piece

This was broken and as you can see was VERY poorly glued back by yours truly. It is very abrasive, probably sandstone? Not that common around here. The shape is interesting but not nearly sharp enough to be a weapon? The groove is what led me to believe it was possibly an arrow shaft sander or something along those lines? If it is a real artifact then the glue job was an abomination, if not it was the waste of a LOT of glue on a rock.
