Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Seems to be copper/silver or brass/silver. On the front side a lot of engraving work and back side has some engraved Arabic writing. Just curious what i could maybe find out. Thanks Travis
It appears to possibly be a “charger” for a formal place setting.

No date or other engravings than just the topside....this was passed down in my family and the story was that it came off of a shipwreck somewhere....family lore at its best haha. Really no clue to its real origin or age other than it looks very well used.

If the four numbers on the reverse refer to a year date, that year is 1730 (Gregorian). It can't be a Hijri date since this year in Hijri is 1445.

A copper vessel used to serve coffee, famous in the Middle East and North Africa
I have one at home that is used as decoration
As for writing, we Arabs use the Arabic calendar
