Help to ID possible WWII awards/decorations

Although I cannot be 100% certain, I believe these two awards/decorations are from the WWII era. There is a pilot who flew missions during WWII over Europe but unfortunately he died in 1982 so I cannot ask what these two awards/decorations are for. I'm trying to do some research for the family and hope somebody on here can help out. Thanks.

I believe the little gold star means awarded twice. Gold star for each add'l award. Silver for 5'x. My dad was a 3 war vet with a chest full of ribbons. MANY gold and silver stars on his ribbons.

Oklahoma National Guard and Puerto Rico National Guard? I would have never guessed that. And I find it odd that they are from two totally different areas. I will have to do some more research and try to figure out where this pilot has been stationed. From what little bit I know, he was stationed in Arizona and California for pilot training before being sent to Europe for WWII.

Those may or may not be correct IDs. Every service has their own ribbon meaning, and there are only so many colors and number of stripes possible. From active duty, to reserves, to NG of every state, to ROTC... Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, CG... From many different wars... I'm sure those 2 ribbons have held many meanings.
