Help with Excal Date of Manufacture Please

Wandering if anyone knows if you can tell what year an Excal or Excal II was made by the serial number or anything? Thanks for the help. HH

If I can have the serial number I might be able to give an ballpark figure but not an exact date.

According to Minelab, you use to be able to tell age by the serial number, but that is not longer valid, and hasn't been for many years, back to early years when they were making the blue headphones models.

I asked Minelab (Australia)and they said to supply the serial number and they could give a ballpark date.
