Help with ID

[doninbrewster]

I found this bell a few weeks ago and can't seem to find anything on it on the internet. I've found crotal bells before, but I've never seen anything quite like this one. It's brass or bronze and 2" x 1". It also has the number 16 on it. Any help would be appreciated.

Well I like bells, and that is a different one for sure.

I know not a darn thing about bells. I can say that it looks old and pretty cool. Neat find, sorry I am worthless on the ID.
