Help with large button?

Thought I'd post this button again to see if anyone can Identify it. I dug it awhile ago and even sent some pictures to different relic/button places and couldn't get a answer. Any ideas

That's what I was always thinking but could never find anything with the two units combined in any way

I know this is different from yours but it may guide us in the right direction. This was listed as Canadian air force. I'm still hunting for it.

Yours is a wwii royal canadian Air Force button!

It is from The Shop - the Royal Military Academy Woolwich when it trained Gunner and Sapper Gentlemen Cadets. Pre 1901, worn by mess staff.
