Help with pin.. military?

Can't seem to find anything on it. It looks military to me. Wanted to see if anyone recognized the symbol on the front or what it meant?

DUI = Distinctive Unit Insignia and NOT the driving infraction. There are folks who collect DUI's.

Looks like it has an N.S. Meyer hallmark from the Vietnam era. Mention that in the title. It may help the sale, still a modest value though. N.S. Meyer single digit letters such as 9M were used between 1960-1965. N.S. Meyer - HALLMARKS [REF] - U.S. Militaria Forum
