Here is a Love Question

In my case I didn't have achoice. My wife was both to me for 49yr.Love doesn't tell you what to do,your heart does.

Define "explode".... :D

Bran <><

Explosions are cool but most "explosive relationships" wont last. Some guys need explosions in their relationships or they just lose interest, therefore they jump from one relationship to another their entire life. Others like the stability & lack of drama in a "comfortable love" & often endure in long relationships. I got lucky & got both worlds in my relationship with my girl. Nice, mello, even tempered & I still see fireworks after 18 years. Thats how you do it, eh Warsaw?

A wise philosopher , whose name escapes me at the moment , said ,"A man needs 3 women in his life . A mother to nurture him , a second to dissapate the passions of his youth with , a
last one to enjoy the finer things in life with , and at least one good dog ."
First thing my best friend of the last 27 years did was find us a good dog :hello2:
We are happy that we always have a good relationship and a good dog .

Does this philosopher live in Utah? With a dog?
Indeed , I don't know . I read it many years ago and do not remember who wrote it .
It has worked well for us .

drama queens need not apply *-- my first ex cured me of the "need" of crazyness in my life --I got a lifetime supply from her in the 10 years we were together ---- my 2nd wife brought forth the long term love and peace of mind and stabilty I really needed in my life. -- we been together 15 years soon and not 1 major fight in that time .

I settled for the safe bet

After 23 years years she called it quits. We were never really more than roommates anyway. On the other hand I suppose it could backfire with the one that makes you explode as well.

The only "love" advice I would ever give anyone is to be self confident, secure and able to be happy in or out of a relationship. You can't leave yourself and if you become dependent on another for happiness, it will likely never happen.

So, if this makes sense, you become your own explosion, and your own safe bet, and choose the relationship that your heart desires.

Okay so here is the facts, kind of entangled but here goes. I was born in Texas and married my husband 5 years ago. He has been in Mexico for two years and will soon get his Permanent Card to live in the United States. In those two years he became involved with a woman three months after he left the U.S. Guilible me worked and went home every day and sent him money until I found out he was cheating on me. We didnt speak for six months and have only really talked about 15 minutes a month since. He wants me to try to put out marriage together again, but I met someone else and am thinking of making a life with him.
