Heres my 2 cents...

Went out for about 2 and a half hours this morning and ended up doing pretty good. Found 2 items I'm still researching to find out what they are. One looks like a spool and the other I have no idea. A gold pin with the initials AM on it written in a fancy script. A Standard Colour flat button. An 1899 IH and my first 2 cent piece. It's an 1865 that's not in the best if shape but I'll take it. Thanks for looking.

Evolution, Do you think its a cuff link? I thought so at first also but it seems a little heavy. Its solid and doesn't have any markings on it.

I have to say, although I've seen a lot of them posted, I've never found one myself. But from what I've seen my guess would be yes. .... now I want to go out and find one.... lol. BTW.. I'm talking about the gold pin type item with the initials... (second pic over).. as far as the first pic.... I don't know.... The spool like item.. maybe a grommet from some old horse tack/saddle?
