Do you remember anything else about the stone in question befor I pull out boxes? Was it hardstone or was it knapped? I have some ax preforms or some big blades that could qualify or some things that I have no idea what they are. Let me know

bsit1361 ,.. this post I was thinking of was at least 6 mo. back . As I remember the person had crossed a river / bay by boat ?
This stone would be considered a hardstone ,,.like a rough preform . I think there was another hardstone "thing" found ???
What got my attention was the material [green/blue &metallic like] looked like one of the more desirable materials used for these heating stones & Comal's , ..as it will withstand extream heating and cooling . the piece was a bit small ,..for such an artifact ,..out here in So. Cali ?
I should have responded then ,... blindpig

Ill have to go through boxes. Cant really think of what it might be but I do go out into the bay and rivers to hit the islands. Ill let u know if I come up with it.
