I’m just letting all my friends know that I’m still living I just haven’t found anything worthwhile to so. This is been the longest dry spell I’ve ever had. Uggggh

I found a blue enamelware kettle full of gold and some nice lead slabs that ring like silver when I whack them with a hammer. Does that count?

I hear ya I think Ive been out 20 times and have a few wheats . The thing is Ive found tons of gold rings silver rings silver spills a opium pipe from the 1900s yes I cleaned it.LOL The thing is the more you find the more you know the possibility of what might be next. But Dude every dog needs a bone After 10 hunts and coming home with the Goose egg 0 again starts to get annoying.My town was founded in 1826 and these cheap people didnt drop a coin till 1900 and picked it right back up no joke. I realize also looking on this site the ones who find 4 or 5 coppers a spanish silver, a couple gold rings paul reveres golden tooth etc. makes me wonder if my detector is even working. I think try driving a little farther away, thats what I need to do. Good luck it will get better were to stubborn to settle my friend. Tommy

Tommy!!! A blanking like crazy over here!! I mean I’m showing up nothing all my spots are pretty much dried out. I’d say my last 15 trips have been nothing to talk about. This hobby will humble you lol

Yeah we’ve had some rain but it’s not a floppy the next day. Our weather is real cool in the morning and then by lunchtime you sweating your ass off.

We are all NUTS Kids will ask where I am Hes metal Detecting Ill come home 5 or 6 hours later a couple wheats if Im real lucky a silver dime Kids say you went out for 6 hours for 13 cents Mom hes got issues I can give him a Quarter will that help. LOL I went out to a Big Family Dinner last year Kids brought up my metal detecting told them what I look for a few of the older ones said I might have some change I can give you errrrrrr Why even explain OK Everybody yep go get me some change Ill take bills too.

I would have liked to have gone out today. Did plumbing and installed a solar panel instead.
