Hi, new detectorists here in our household. We bought ourselves a Garrett AT Max and spent the last week hitting up local beaches, ballfields and parks. We haven't yet found anything super old or collectible but we're having a lot of fun and sun outdoors! I hope to learn from the knowledgeable folks on the forum and share our future finds. Cheers,

You might want to research areas (like Ballard) outside of
Seattle. Ballard was pretty much where the first real
settlements were.

If you have your kids with you and are in a Seattle park,
be sure they know not to touch any needles that were left
