At $212 a pop, you could pay for almost 5 Ace 250's. :o Look closely at all those coins, you are bound to have at least 1 key date or error in all those and it doesn't have to be an old coin to possibly be valuable. Get a red book and check all the coins closely. Congrats on your milestone and go for $2000. HH Steve

I have a red book and I look at them all. I do have a 1901 s Barber dime. It's a key. A lot of those coins are silver and kept.

with tax and shipping--- that $250 buck investment in a Ace 250 (cause shipped to you with a few do dads it cost about 250 in the end) looks like it paided off nicely --- $750 to the good (minus battery and gas of course) seems like you got a hobby that looks like it is turning a profiet or at the very least busting even --- name me any other hobby that pays for its self or can bring you $$$$ in (maybe) --- plus you get to find intersting bits of history too. congrats on reaching $1,000. 00 in a mere 2 years ----- 1000 / 24 months --- thats about $41.66 per month --- thats about $ 10.42 per week=== or say $1.49 per day --- ay $1.50 per day in clad everyday for 2 years --you've been very buzy

Think you deserve an upgrade to a higher end detector.
You could always sell off the Ace to offset the cost but it might as well stay...get a new
top end machine and maybe u will find even more stuff the Ace might be missing.

Imagine finding double what u normally find each trip :o

Time for a new backup detector with that kind of change - you almost have enough for an SE!
I know you'd have enough if you'd pull some silver halves out of your safe!
Congrats!
