Hit a soccor field today...

Had a couple hours so hit one of the soccor fields close to Richmond and it was a little warmer than I thought it would be. I kinda cherry picked today passing over quite a few pennies. Todays totals, sorry no pic, just put them in the bag of goodies. 19 quarters, 14 dimes, 10 nickels, 6 cents!! 49 coins $6.71

I love those soccer fields. There are some good finds there. I have found more rings in soccer fields than anywhere else. Kind of like a dry land beach. Way to go!

Nice hunt Jack, amazing the German soccer fields do not give up much here, have hunted a few. Have one I need to get to, could be interesting. HH, Mike

Way to go Jack. We are finally getting some rain tonight and tomorrow; hoping that it will be enough to soften up the ground cuz I've got a soccer field that I cherry picked the edge a couple weeks ago (only looked for near surface hits). Plugs crumble when you dig em. Good luck.

I have noted the same thing. My favorite area to hunt a soccer field in in the safety zone in front of the goals, the center and along the sidelines.
