All really nice finds Jim. Is that ink a Carter's? Again, all are nice finds. Glad to see some more goodies

Hey Jim,

Isn't that the base of this turn mould British Ale? I can't see the kick up well, but it doesn't seem to be pontiled. Turn moulds were used most often after 1880.

Congratulations on that Cobalt necked Pfannebecker stone! I like that amber cone and the Lucky Sanford's ink. A'lotta people call that a Tug Boat Ink, but it's really a Horse Shoe shape, perhaps a little on the thick side. 8-)

Here's a page with a stoppered one, coming out of the ground:

I just love these sorta tantalizing historic tidbits. Thanks for that Jim.

Much of my knowledge is based on research done by the bottle guru himself...

Unbelievable finds. I can't believe how many great bottles you have pulled out of this spot. Are you digging down in the water or is it mostly surface stuff in the mud?

on the river banks mostly 1-3 ft down although the first few i found were in the mud partily exposed in a couple inches of water.there are most likely alot burried in the river but they will have to wait until warm weather returns

was doing some research on the fork and found out that it is
German Imperial Flatware from a setting that a Bracia henneberg designed and one like mine was given as a gift to a Lt h
Hoffman a member of the third reich

Crowned myself king of the dig site

went back to the site today and found some awesome stuff.the thing that looks like a belt i think is a crown too once you connect the 2 ends its only big enough to sit on your head.the stoneware are in great condition as is the hutch.not sure of the metal or the stones on the crowns but thy are still pretty neat finds
