hit big at the test hole on the river

i'm sticking to the area

well found the usual brauns, round bottoms, and some non-embossed stuff(i dont have pics of them they are in a pile hid by the dig site)getting to many of them to carry em all home but i did find some more new old stuff an old hat stick pin,big lead weight, blue ball mason jar, old hand made marble,an end of the day marble(might be worth a few bucks),a copper rivot of some sorta milk glass jar,an old wood top(surprised it wasn't rotted away i think all the chemicals they dumped in the river back then helped perserve some things) and a few other things i have to get pics of thanks for looking

The jar looks great. Is it chipped or cracked/broken?

no chips or cracks which is pretty remarkable not sure how old it is but to come out of the river with no damage is something .i've tried finding one on the internet to date it but haven't had any luck the only thing i can think is it might have been burried deeper in the mud and sand but the last couple of storms removed a lot of it and exposed it recently. it is actually the 2cnd one like it that i have found in the same area.on an old city map from the 1880's it showed a chinese laundry use to be on the bank of the river right in that area but that would really be amazing to have 2 survive that long without being broke.unfurtunatly the first one i found was broke by one of my cats.

I really like it and am amazed it has survived all these years

You did better than me today. I didn't do well today for bottles, but I got half of an 1878 plow and an old meat grinder.

That doll head sure is creepy looking. Nice finds today.

Doll's eyeballs creeped me out too but still I'm keeping mine on this thread to see what you find next in your sweet spot.Happy Birthday tommorrow!
