Since mother nature turned my fav park into a lake :'(, I had to go to another fav park on higher ground. The first coin I dug was 6 inches deep with 2 rusty caps in with it. It is one big canuck 1906, yup he got a one hour bath in peroxide. The next thing I dug was this 1924 wheaty, it was only about 5 inches deep, but he was keeping company with a buncha buds, but I could see right through them dudes ( they are a bunch of trash). I rescued Mr. Lincoln from a life of no good. Now the next thing I rescued, could have been hanging out with the big canuck, but she was about a half mile down the road from him, and likely never met the guy, plus she was 4 years his senior. Could she have robbed the cradle, if she wasn't crippled? :icon_scratch:. It is hard to explain how My mynelab sounds with this new coil on it, but when I run it in Iron Mask, all trash sounds are solid and the sweet sounds are warbled. Well this was a medium warble, but my cursor went bonkers and slammed itself way into the upper right corner of the screen. And the unreliable depth gauge said about 9 inches. I cut a horse shoe shaped plug about 6 inches deep and stuffed my SunRay X1 into the hole. It started singing like an angel with a silvery voice. So after I loosed some more dirt from the bottom, I put my bare hand gently into the hole and felt the rim of a coin. Sure glad nobody was around when I pulled her out of the hole...... with a loud YEEEHAAW! And a happy dance, I am sure someone would've called the white coats on me.......... First pics are my washed out park.........NGE
