That looks like an Eden about 9000 years old.Very nice.

You aren’t the first to say that. but it’s been called a few other things including some very smart people. But no one has put a finger on a definite type.

I use to have a paperback book called A Projectile Point Guide for Upper Mississippi River Valley that was very helpful. Unfortunately I borrowed it to someone and never got it back. What have other called it?

Ive had it called a knobbed Hardin, stringtown lance, archaic knife, a transitional piece. They guy who bid heavily against me said it was.... a Yuma.

Evidently, it Doesn’t completely line up with the better known knobbed or eared pieces.

I think its odd an eared hixton piece from Wisconsin is so hard to put a finger on.
