While hunting the old mine site that is now a public park, I was hoping to find some scrip belonging to the specific company that ran the mine. Even one would suffice for me. Little did I know, I was about to dig five all from one hole! I got a 5 credit, ten credit, and three 25 credit ones! I continued to hone in on that spot, finding an RA (Rock Island Arsenal) 17 casing, as well as the back to a button and and another domed brass piece in with the scrip. I also dig a 36 Buffalo nickel and a 41 wheatie! My expectations were exceeded today, and hopefully I’ll be able to find a some more later on!

Congrats on a great haul !

If it matters the shell casing is from a blank cartridge. Cool to see the mine scrip.
Please educate me a little;
What do you see that indicates a blank shot? Thanks
