HOLY GUACAMOLE! Ton of silvers!

8 boxes...6 of which were skunks...121 silvers. However, all of the 121 silvers were 40%. No 90%. Don't get me wrong...I'm not complaining at all...but 90% would have been really, really sweet! I've been at this for a while but have never gotten such a heavy score. The big question to me is how does such a concentration of silver get into only two boxes? One explanation is a collection dump. Do you guys have any other ideas?

Nice score! My theory - people hoarded Kennedy halves, they dump their collection, (after first picking out the 90%'ers).

Grandpa passes away and grandma finds the coins in a drawer or a box. She take them to the bank and cashes them in. The truck comes and take the coins back and they get rolled and then get into a few boxes and then one or 2 luck CRH's find them......Matt

I agree with mlayers and fistfulladirt. Taken to a bank and some super sharp teller pulls out everything 64 and earlier. Cause we all know nothing after that is silver!!

Great job, wish our AG would rebuild around here. I did find out that as soon as the snowbirds left EVERYBODY now has half dollars. Unfortunately they are the same thing that a real bird leaves behind after he has ate......
