Homestead near natural spring yields two old buckles. Would appreciate any help identifying their uses.

Got out to an old homestead near a natural spring and found these buckles. I can't find any matches with Google Lens, but the smaller buckle says FEB 17 190(?). I've never seen a specific date on a buckle and I'm having a hard time figuring out what the larger buckle would have been for. I've never seen one with 3 prongs. It looks like it was painted blue at some point.

Anyways, it was quite a hike to get there, and I found some other things that are less interesting. There must be 10,000 nails strewn across this property.

The buckle is super cool! Someone will be able to identify it’s purpose!

Nothing for a size reference, but my guess is the larger one is some type of harness buckle.

I'll go with harness buckle also
