001.webp002.webp#1 is brass, looks to have locking mechanism. #2 is brass, has hinge and looks to be wood inside #3 I think is copper, has little hook on side that might have made inside slide? #4 is copper, with some kind of nipple on end. #5 is Brass, broken off at threads, with some iron piece on top.???joe

#1 Part of some kind of lock?

#2 ?

#3 Part of an umbrella? Or something that slides and locks.

#4 Kind of looks like a rivet.

#5 Some kind of specialty bolt? Maybe made to be tightened by hand.

Best I can do.

It took me four years to get an ID on the one I found.

It is a pre war German folding stamp. The short piece had the rubber stamp affixed inside and the long one was the ink pad for automatic ink application.

Here is the thread...

Thanks Taz,that is pretty neat.I am glad you are here,4 years is a long time to wait.I don't want to try to open it,with my luck I will end up killing it.Where do you see the patent on yours?
