It was 92 degrees today and yes I was pouring sweat. LOL I detected a baseball diamond/field for about an hour and a half, maybe two hours I wasn't looking at my watch. I thought I had found some sort of token at first glance when the coin was in the hole. After examining it closely I discovered it is a 2002 Euro coin. I also found half a car, 5 quarters,6 dimes,6 nickles, and 20 pennies.

Very nice digs, WTG!!!
I love finding the ones that make ya take a second look, so much fun trying to figure out what you have found...
Good luck, & Happy hunting~

Cool coin. This heat is something else but nice to know there are a few of us die hards still out there digging it !

Neat find!!

those euros do not look like they will not last long in the ground. fifty years from what do think they will look like after being on the ground that long. I think they will be just a sliver of corroded metal.

Neat coin Penny! You found a lot a keepers!

Nana ;)

Neat find for Ohio, I may have dropped it last year when I was there, LOL! It's an Italian Euro coin with "The Vitruvian Man, by Leonardo da Vinci". HH, Mike
