One of my MAIN goals for this year was to find a Standing Liberty quarter, and I nabbed one after work this afternoon on a quick hunt!! And you'll never guess where I found her...right across the street from my house in the city easement of my neighbor's yard, which dates back to 1929, LOL. She's a no dater, and she looks pretty beat up, but she's all mine.
The quarter just sang to my Silver uMax and stock coil at about 4" deep with the disc set to zinc, and it was accompanied by a pair of Wheat pennies and a U.S. military button.
Tomorrow I'm gonna have to go over it again with my 12x10 spider coil to see if there are any deeper targets, and also drop my disc down to see if I missed any nickels.
