Hot silver streak on the cold continues...

My captain was being a prick today, and being the Chief Mate, I basically just had to take it. 'Nuff said...

So I needed to relieve some stress and what better way than swinging! I've had a hot streak of 7 trips straight of silver so I set myself up for disappointment. Looked for 20 minutes and nothing. I remembered finding two wheats a few months ago in a spot so I checked it out. 7" down and weak I pulled a 12-45/13-45. Dug under a monster root and wham!

Silver #8 for 2015! ...and 8 straight outings with silver!

10?! That's nuts. I'm super stoked especially since the kids limit my hunts to about an hour. I didn't expect a streak like this in the same beaten park so it's bound to end soon. But alas I'm saving up sick days for the big hunts..cough cough! I feel something big coming on around late March. Maybe strep, or maybe I'll tell my prick captain herpes to save any embarrassment. Lol

Funny you mention that. I'm planning a trip down you way this spring. Got a client in Princeton with an early 1800s mansion that I stay at. You know you're wealthy when you have a random mansion that never gets used so you let random Mainers crash there lol

Doesn't look that big in the pics but trust me it's massive and the property is enormous. With a massive field out in front and a random pool in the field for good measure. To give to an idea the property tax is $48,000 a year and they don't even use it. I will def be looking up you and Vino when I'm in the neighborhood

I didn't detect when last there. But there are tons of pics from the early and mid 1800s of people out on the lawns at formal gatherings and playing croquet and stuff. I can almost smell the silver and gold in that lawn. Millionaires getting drunk outside. Yup that's where we need to be lol
