My parents are having their house remodeled and i've found a few coins under the baseboard so far. Mostly modern pennies, dimes, nickles, one 1951 Wheat, but my mom was checking the progress in the one room and saw this big coin like thing laying in the crack. She picked it up and saved it for me. On sunday when i went to pick up my dad to go metal detecting she said she found a weird looking coin but didn't know what it was. As soon as i saw it i said thats a Canadian Large Cent, (1903)! Its a little bent and scratched but still a cool find for being in the walls of a house in Virginia built in 1957. Thanks for looking.

You have some nice history there. Imagine the Canadian immigrant that dropped that!
