How deep?

I have a tracker IV and I'm curious if I can use it in shallow water at all?

The Bounty Hunter being only a single freq. detector will greatly suffer at saltwater beach in the wet sand or in the water.

Like Sandman said, not for salt water, but in fresh water beaches you can get the coil wet but watch the controls...
