How did YOU first KNOW you could DOWSE?

You see,,lol,, it's Saturday and a bama fanatic and meant to say "OCD" instead of "ACD"

This is the very reason most people have to clear their mind in order to dowse. Your mind has the ability to influence all parts of your body. It can make you sick or heal you in the same way. Some call it attitude, but your state of mind has a huge impact on everything you do. It can control you or you can control it. Some can simply think of a nice vacation they once took, maybe of a beautiful beach, and a beautiful sunset, and this is all it takes to amke them happy. In reality, some call it daydreaming, but you can also take a trip without leaving home. Be very careful if you try this. Some call it an out of body experience, and in a way I guess it is. I have worked around people doing repetitious work and when approached, they were not at home, but still were able to complete their work as usual. Your subconscience can take over and retain all your motive functions even though you are in another reality. Map dowsing is simply letting yourself visually move across the map, as you are holding a pendulum, or rods. It will lead you to your destination if you let it. I don't want to go into it any deeper than this. Good Luck. rockhound

Would you be willing to dowse for a missing person? If so will you text me at 731-206-0750

I first knew when Bigfoot, the unicorn and I found Area 51 on a map of the Shire.

S4S, i have'nt tried for lost folks but in the late 80's or early 90's imet a man on a hunt and we started e-mailing each other.
i wanted to try to locate his home and he to locte my home. we did not know each other's home place so we tried. i had an anderson rod at the time. in the end i was correct to a point and he also. i dowsed his place but i was south about 100 yards of the true place, and he placed my place about the same distance south. that was kinda' spooky to me but was interesting how we both hit south and the same distance. i douby if this will help anyone but if you try that test, it would be good to post it for others to read. good luck ---- tenclaw

Jerry is very good at what he does. He charges a very small fee. I am in contact with him almost daily about different projects and he will work at finding someone for you. I know of a few people he has found on cases I was trying to work on.

I enjoyed reading your article on dowsing, I am interested in learning more about dowsing. I am a treasure hunter also. Thanks, Pebble

Hello friends! Well two days ago, my dad told me about dowsing. I had never really heard about it, just about people finding water with sticks. So I started looking into it. I seen people dowsing photos of areas, and it really intrigued me. I believed! Which I believe is very important. So today, before we went out on our M' Ding hunt at a early 1900's football field, I said, let me try this. My dad had already pulled two silver out of this field the last time we were there, and was hoping for more this time. So I went on google earth, got a picture of the area, and printed it out. Now I dont have any fancy dowsin tools or anything like that, so i took a necklace, and put a silver ring on it. After I printed out the map, I took my crafty dowsing tool, and began. I asked it to show me where the silver was at. I moved it back and forth the picture slowly, and felt it pull at some spot, and circle others. I marked them on my pic, with X's. Here is the picture. IMG_20121202_175138.webp I started at the lower left. Found a 1941 silver washington, within 10 feet of this X. Between this and the next X to the right, my dad found two silver dime, one merc, and one rosie, nothing around the next X tho. So we went out on the football field, those two X's stacked on top of eachother, were dead on!!! The bottom one I got my 1898 barber dime, and while i started checking the X on top of it, I told my dad to while I checked the other two X's in the top right corner. Our time ran out, but as I was walking back to my dad, he had that look! I asked him " Did you find it?" He said yep, and I could tell he was a little shocked at the accuracy, he walked out where he dug it, and we looked at the map! Wow! Dowsing works!! Oh yeah, it was another merc. I know spending time at the few remaing X's, is probably going to bring forth a few more silver. The crazy thing was that this was my first time doing it. I will be trying to master this, and will continue believing! Happy Hunting, TheWoodBoysIMG_20121202_171530.webp

Thanks for the story..Just a little more to think about

A metallic pendulum attached by a wire will take on the charge of the hand it is being held by. A pendulum held by a nonconductive string will take on the charge of the last hand which held the pendulum. The pendulum when rotating above an object of a similar charge will continue to rotate and eventually swing back and forth perpendicular to the object. This pendulum when rotating above an object of the opposite charge will start to swing back and forth parallel to the object being dowsed. Caution here when dowsing an object you have touched the object will usually take on the charge of the last hand that touched it. This can be demonstrated by dowsing over an object such as a table knife depending on which hand touched the knife last an opposite reaction of the dowsing device will be seen. ,,,Art

Yeah it can get spooky fer sure! But, we have many missing women in my area. I believe that my daughter was approached by the kidnapper as she sat in the truck one day when me and my hubby was digging an old dump site in a ditch. I also believe that she would have been one of his victims if we hadnt come up out of the ditch when we did and scared him away. It was only 5 months later when Holly Bobo was abducted from her home and her home is only about 10-15 minutes from where he approached our daughter thinking she was alone. Since Holly came up missing, i have met her family and gave them and TBI a description of the guy and his truck. Ive been trying to help find Holly for almost 2 years now. I guess because of the incident with my daughter and Holly, and me being a female treasure hunter who hunts alone sometimes in rural places , seeing the impact it made on Hollys family since she poofed from thin air, it has really made me more concerned in finding Holly and the man who took her more than it would for alot of people. I have dowsed an area where I think she could be. Im afraid to get anyones hopes up, also afraid that if Im right then noone would believe I found her by dowsing. Im really curios to hear from other dowsers on locating people, especially Holly. If you were to meet her family youd see how bad it has corrupted all of there lives. My daughter resembles Holly alot, and is about the same age as Holly. I know it could happen to anyone and it almost happened to my family. I believe dowsing works, i can prove it works with alot of things, just not sure about locating missing people. Sometimes, ive learned, that once a certain thing or area gets stuck in our head then it all of our answers we get about it will not be based on true details. So Im afraid that this place i have dowsed and the answers im getting could be false. Hollys mother does not want any part of dowsing, shes told me herself that it creeps her out, i think she thinks its a sort of witchcraft like alot of other people, she doesnt understand the earths energies and it scares her. So, I dont know how to go about asking someone to search the spot Ive dowsed. I guess what I really am hoping for is that someone else would dowse for Holly and come up with the same location as I have. If they do then Id make sure to find someone who will check it out. I want to help them find Holly so bad for closure. Whether shes alive or dead the family needs this. If anyone of you dowsers will dowse for Holly Bobo and come up with a location for her will you please email me the location to southern4shur@yahoo.com or text it to my hubbys cell phone at 731-206-0750. Im really curious to know if any location will match the location I came up with.

Just wanted to update. Im going next week to Darden Tn where Holly was abducted. Im taking a very close friend of Hollys with me in hopes that the energy will pull me harder to her. PLEASE all of you dowsers dowse for Holly and text the location you all come up with. 731-206-0750 when dowsing for her ask it to show you where he dumped her at and also ask where her bones are. Thank you so much . If you cant text me email me at southern4shur@yahoo.com

Hey Southern4shur................I used to do some work that was outside of the box...After locating a couple of missing persons and notifying all the proper people and knowing that if anyone had listened to me the person would not have died I now make it a rule not to do this...I guess I am selfish and just feel that my personal well being is more important ...Art

I understand what your saying. But many people know that I search for her including search officials and her family. Everyone knows Im not a suspect. I use to only hunt for old bottles jugs jars and arrowheads civil war items and coins until my daughter went with me one day and was approached by a man that COULD have possibly been the same person who abducted Holly while I was digging in an old ditch! This man has really made a huge diffrence in my life. Since then Ive got my gun permit and carry my gun with me and I have a boxer trained to stay by my side and help me keep a look out. There are many places I wont go alone anymore no matter what because he is still running free! I reported my info to TBI in case its the same man. Since that day I havent been able to enjoy hunting anything like I use too. I have also met Hollys parents and they are living mine and most parents worst nightmare. I figure since hunting and mapping and treasure hunting are my hobbies and i have the time and dont mind the effort then I might as well do what I do best an to try and help find Holly, that would mean more than any amount of gold to her family. It breaks my heart seeing the emptiness in there eyes and feeling the hole in there hearts. I believe its ok to be selfish in many many ways, but I always try to put myself in other peoples shoes and treat them like I want to be treated. What happened to Holly could happen to any of us or kids. If I were Hollys mother, It would mean everything to me to know that some of us dont give up searching just because its been almost 2 years. The man who took her is still out there and could be doing it again, or maybe already has even. People need people who have a heart and it really does take all kinds of people that are good at certain things sometimes. Im not afraid of finding her sir. I appreciate your concern but this family needs closure one way or another. And theres been no evidence that she is dead. I just asked for people to dowse for her bones because whether shes alive or dead her bones are somewhere on this earth. Hopefully when shes found it will lead to the person responsible for taking her. So I see no harm in asking dowsers to dowse for her. And Im not giving up on her or her family or for anyone else no matter what and I KNOW Im not the only one who feels this way.

This is a treasure hunting forum. Sorry to say but most people here are pretty much treasure motivated. Also I heard if you are squeamish about that sort of thing you will never be able to dowse for it. Also the police automatically consider any person (you, too) who provides info as a suspect. Some have been put in jail for days.

My suggestion is to contact the American Society of Dowsers and see if they can direct you to someone. Of maybe Find-a-dowser. Whatever, better be extremely careful how you handle it.

I understand and am very much aware of these things. Thanks for your concern. God Bless and good day.

I was just giving a reason why I do not do this....I am very picky about the maps I dowse..Sometimes bad things happen to people because they are chasing a treasure. In some countries treasure hunters get their heads cut off..I made that mistake one time and it will not happen again...Art

Ive tried ASD already but thank you for suggesting it.

I understand this too and think about it often times. The Lords Prayer helps me alot when I feel danger ahead. I never ever ask to be shown bad or evil things, and when I feel its presence I put my rods down and get out of the area quick as I can. I have alot of faith that Im being protected by God when Im out and about.

Oh boy...this thread is taking a turn towards a little weird.

I thought anybody could water witch....5 out of the 6 guys that never tried..did try it and it worked for them...we used a Y branch from a black birch....I showed them how to hold the stick and it worked....just held the stick and no matter how hard you tried to hold it upright..it wouldn't...using coat hangers bent in a L shape works everytime when locating water.

I'm gonna have to see it to believe it. Any science behind dowsing?

Are you in West Tn by any chance?
