How do you count silver?

Business strike US silver coins are 90 percent silver (a bit more on the earlier crap). War nickels are 35 percent silver, and always come out of the ground looking like old rotten greenish brownish little corroded turds. Is a regular silver coin silver? Is a war nickel silver? Is a coin a coin? Is a silver earing a silver? Is a silver ring a coin? I would be aghast to even consider a war nickel as a silver find. Uhgg. Dont friken do it, it's cheating. Plus the AAMDF does not recognize war nickels or silver jewelry as silver coins finds so phooey to all you silver counter cheaters. I found 9 silver last season, a walker, four murks, two wash quarters, a standing quarter, and a roos. But I found two silver earings, a silver bracelet, two rotten war nickels in the same hole, a crushed silver ring and two silver religious medals. So by final count, I found 17 silvers. Right? WRONG.
