How do you name your claim??

Once in a while you run across one that's funny, but mostly they are just boring. You get to name it, and its a piece of dirt, it won't get made fun of in first grade.

My first claim is "Dirt Poor", #2 is going to be "Still Poor", and #3 is going to be "Eatin' Beans".

Got to have some fun somewhere.

I've been thinking about claiming one in a very popular local with lots of drive by exposure and naming it after one of the enviros I love to detest. Maybe have some very large professional signs made up of the name that bear a striking resemblance to their logo. "The Sierra fun #23". I'm sure they'd appreciate the humor

We see a lot of strange claim names.
Saw one just the other day it was "Friggin Lar".
A friend that has passed now named his first claim "Just Dirt" so people wouldn't know it had good gold on it. He was a little paranoid.
My friend Bunk named his best claim "Bunks Dream". It's really a great claim with some big chunky gold nuggets.
Ruby and I have several claims named after us. Flattering or embarrassing?

My most resent claim I named Fat Chance.My next claim I plan to name after my dog and prospecting partner Willie it will be named Wet Willie.
