$5000? Less, more?

What it comes down to is your freedom, livelihood, belongings, even your life can be taken from you but your Integrity MUST be given away. In the end it is really all we have.

It applies across the board or not at all. Had people I would trust with 50k in cash but not with my wife. Guys who would return a wallet but shoot a deer out of season on someone else's land.
Actual integrity is rare. Partial integrity isn't really real, is it?

... it sure is a sliding scale... I have, (I guess we all do) my own personal code... most likely similar to other folk raised in the same time and manner as me.

what was googles old motto? "don't be evil" or something like that?

It isn't. You either have it or don't. Once it's compromised, you've lost it and given it away.

Everybody has their price. Supposedly.
Seen it in action as executor of a couple wills. Surprising how little it takes when there is a little family $$$ involved.

Integrity is never black and white, just like any other principle, spiritual or otherwise.

And those who claim perfection are the least likely to have it. That's just empty virtue signaling. Humans are flawed and prone to being human.

Integrity is basically a self accredited assessment of how well you think that you are doing in a set of self constructed codes , morals and limitations..
Alternatively you can judge 'your integrity' by how well you fit into the accepted norms.
Both ways , it is an expression of insecurity.

Integrity is the quality of being honst and having a consistent and uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values.

Integrity stands in opposition to hypocrisy (accepted norms) not in collusion with it.
I really didn't ask for half-baked definitions. Just what it would take for someone to give it up.

You better not try to spend those hundreds. They all have the same serial number!
They also Look like Boxes or Blocks !
Do not Appear to Be Packets,,, edges are Too Perfect :coffee2:

Given my life and the results of several bad choices and decisions based on principles ; I have developed lots of integrity.
So much that I could afford to part with some for enough zeros.
Let's start the bidding at five million for some.

A former acquaintance who spent time armed in some sketchy places once described corruption as nearly unavoidable in the instance when someone is presented with the question of how much it will cost for them to shut up. As he feigned doling out cash.

Does Congress have to approve the 'Integrity' ?????
