Yeah, I read it, and my impression is that PI is simply not for everyone.
The discrimination is not as good as VLF metal detectors, the sensing mechanism is very iffy,
and it seems more tempermental than the tried and proven VLF detectors.

Seems the PI models might be a LITTLE bit better for gold or underwater detecting, but not for regular land-based hunting. MHO.

I would agree with you on that. PI's are definitely not for everyone.....
