Have been impressed with the finds you have made with your Gold Stinger and I'am wondering
If you have tryed using it in the T/R mode and if so what kind of luck you have had with it.
I have one but have use it only a few times for coin's and such; used it mostly for Gold prospecting.
But started playing with it yesterday doing air test's and found it seems to do better in T/R than all
metal plus with O disc. you can just about forget iron. I was useing the small 3x5 sniper for the tests.
Also put a 1in. Sharp Shooter I have that is for a old ADS Master Hunter 7 and it works as a probe!
may be just the thing for sniping bedrock cracks if I ever get back in gold country. T/R seems to
work the best with it also. Any thought's on this?

I think I might have lost that ring. :icon_scratch: Now you just tell me what state, what beach, what day and time you found it. Then I can determine if it is the one I might have lost. :tongue3: Nice find, my hat off to you.

I too have played around with that TR mode. I haven't found the same results on the Scorpion that you did on the MH ADS air tests. It doesn't penetrate the ground near as deep as the true all metal mode and motion discriminate. I am still experimenting with it hoping to find a way to help discriminate out certain targets. Thanks for pointing out that TR mode.
