Go for it BC - Skelly - Let us know how it all turns out!! Love these types of stories. :hello2:

Well I already found something interesting.
There is a high chance that that middle initial may be wrong, or a nickname.
Faye S. Hall

DANVILLE, Va. - Mrs. Faye S. Hall, 78, died on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003 at her residence.
Mrs. Hall was born in Danville, Jan. 28, 1925, a daughter of the late Clarence Howell Spooner and Margaret Carter Wilson.
Surviving are her husband of the home, Norman R. Hall. Two sons, Larry N. Hall of Danville and Mark C. Hall of Helena, Mont. One daughter, Mrs. Kim H. Fowlkes of Danville. One sister, Peggy Mealer of Danville. Also are four grandchildren, Renee L. Hall, Whitney E. Fowlkes, Jonathon T. Fowlkes and Jami L. Sheppard, all of Danville.
Now it is hard to say if that is her or not, but since her maiden name is Spooner, I'd be willing to bet it is, that's not a very common surname.
Bear with me, I am doing this on my tablet, and well its a pain lol.
Now that says she had a couple sons, that would be a good place to start, a phone call never hurts found a few Larry hall's in Danville va, which could be sons of her son etc.
I would start here.

By the way this is all public records.
I really hope this info helps, I could not wait until I got home, damn obsessive compulsive disorder..lol

Faye S. Hall = Faye Spooner Hall? Fair chance, I'd say.

Thanks for every ones input, and sorry I haven't responded sooner for my computer was sick. I have spoken to Larry Hall (son) and he says his mothers name was Virginia Faye Spooner(hall). The bracelet reads Faye N. Spooner. So the search continues.

I would suggest that you start with Ancestry.com. It is a pay site, but they usually offer a free trial and have a wealth of information, including genealogical information, and city, state and federal records. I think it is more likely the individuals maiden name on the bracelet rather than married, it just seems more like a young girl type piece.

I'll start on this tonight, I absolutely love researching things, I'll look till I'm blue in the face.

You know, folks pay real good money for skip tracers and ppl, that know how to find ppl.
It's nice to get paid to do what you love.

Good luck with your search, too and HH!

I just love to research things, I find people, for people all the time.
Sure people do get paid alot for doing that, but thats not what I like, it's just a satisfaction thing for me.
Still trying to figure why I am here on this earth after all these years, sometimes I just feel like a lost sheep, searching for an answer, and thats something no matter how hard I search, it seems to elude me.

Ah, Maslows' dilemma.... the perfect meaning of it all...... :icon_scratch: :laughing7:
Kinda a subjective subject. Like, art and helping ppl find/help ppl. :cat:
Keep up the good hunt(fight)! :occasion14:

Hey Skelly, I keep thinking about this mystery person. Danville seems like just too small of a town to have many Faye Spooners. So one thought I had was to check out the family of the deceased father of the wrong Fay Spooner. Children are often named after a parent, so perhaps he had a mother named Faye Spooner. You might be able to locate a death record, obituary, or earlier census record for him that would list his parents. In fact, you could search all available census records for Faye Spooner in Danville and see what you come up with since they are indexed under every person in the census. The census records are on Ancestry, but since you live in Danville, you might be able to get them through your local library. Good luck.
