Concrete, WA
Detector(s) used
Nokta FoRs Gold, a Gold Cube, 2 Keene Sluices and Lord only knows how many pans....not to mention a load of other gear my wife still doesn't know about!
Primary Interest:
Prospecting
If the poles do shift, the problem is going to be solar radiation.
The poles are the strong points of our magnetic shield, and if
they were to transition there would be an extended period of time
that the Earth would be subject to the full brunt of the solar
radiation..first to go would be the ozone layer along with every
satellite in orbit.

Interesting subject...never thought about it in relation to metal
detecting. The field generated by our detectors is so localized I seriously
doubt you'd see much difference.
