hunt turns up a Jeton, Lead bar, vaccination tag and 32 coins
My buddies new Tesoro arrived a few days ago. After teaching him the basics of ground balancing, interpreting signals, Digging plugs, and filling in holes, I stepped away from the playground to give him some easy targets to find while learning his new machine. While he was doing that, I decided to hunt the grassy area near the community Picnic Pavilion.
Being former US Military housing, I usually get a good mix of US, German, and Euro coins and today was no different. 33 coins including 4 little wheaties.
The non coin items included what appears to be a jeton (circa 17-18th century - we are still trying to nail down specifics on it - see my post in the what is it thread). Within a few steps of digging the jeton, I pulled out a lead bar that appears to be a crude pencil.
Other items of note include a fishing sinker with Line still attached (thread type), a modern suspender buckle, and a dogs vaccination tag from 1975.
Coin Stats
EURO: US: German
1 Euro x 1 Quarter x 3 10 Pfennig x 3
50 Cent x 2 Dime x 2 5 Pfennig x 3
10 Cent x 2 Nickle x 3 1 Pfennig x 2
5 Cent x 2 Penny (Wheat) x 4
2 Cent x 1 Penny (Memorial) x 2
1 Cent x 1
