Worked my brother in-law's house for a couple hours this morning. Pretty small yard. Found the toy car right away (Tootsietoy Ford Thunderbird). It came up in pretty good shape for being 10" down. I dug trash for about an hour and was about to leave when I hit the 1901 IH at 3". I couldn't believe it. I had been finding zincolns at 3" and thought for sure I was digging another. My theory is that the coins must work their way down below the turf fairly quickly then stay at a pretty constant depth. Anyway finished up with a couple wheats 1919S & '57D and $.74 clad.
HH. Thanks for looking.
