Detector(s) used
Fisher 1265x, F2 Nautlius DMC IIb
Went a few blocks down the road yesterday and today and did some metal detecting in my cousins front yard, here are my finds. Not a bad trash ratio neither. There were coins everywhere in this tiny front yard. One hole I was digg'n some clad and I be damned if I did cut into a would have been nice 3 ringer :BangHead:
I got one signal under some terrible root balls buy a big old Magnolia tree, well as I was fighting to get my hands under the roots and using a stick to dig I popped out a Gardner, ran my DMCIIb back over it , yep still something there. I picked out a 3-ringer . Swung over it again still something there. Well I ended up having to leave whatever else was down there, cause my stick digg'n method was not working anymore. Maybe I will go back another day with an axe and see what else is there. I sure hope its a button :laughing7:
The first pic is yesterdays finds and the next is todays...
ADDED= The shoe buckle was found yesterday but not in his yard, found that in the woods by my house.

I just so much enjoy an area like that,VIRGIN,workin one right now,back field next to an old school.Private property,even better.An 02 IH so far and a nice 925 turquoise earring.Hope you score the BIG one! HH {looks like you got his cousin}

Ok boys, I meant cousin to tke BIG one,Get It?

He owns a Fisher 1266x but doesn't use it too often. He wouldn't dig with me yesterday. He called and asked me if I wanted to hunt it cause he was moving soon. Someone in the neighborhood told him someone's hunted all the yards there. They didn't hunt his that's for sure. I'm sure there is much more there. I didn't even hit the back yard.

Cool finds. Is that a baby stirrup in the top picture?

Looks like you might have a fuse plug for a CW era parrot gun shell, 2nd pic
right hand side, can't tell for sure.

NICE
