Hunted some foundations in the woods with Mirage and Don

Me, Mirage, and Don met up today for a hunt at a site in the woods that had remains of several old buildings. Mirage used some old maps to originally determine where the buildings were. At the site, there was plenty of iron, but when a coin was found, it was old. I found 4. Also got a trumpet mouthpiece I think and a couple bullets, and a few pieces of a broken up silver decoration of some sort.

It was cool to hunt with Don today...been a while since all 3 of us were at it.

Thanks. None that I saw. Fortunately, ticks don't seem to be much of a threat in our area, actually.

Great looking hunting site, and some fantastic coins and relics. Very nice IH.
Just by looking at that first picture, I am thinking ticks and poison ivy. I guess I'm used to this area. By the way, is Don sinking in quicksand?

That is actually a road...and Don was using his trusty DFX. He's on his knees in the pic (so it's not quicksand ).
