Hunter: are you under the same impression I am that finding any 2009 cents are becoming harder (fewer & fewer) to find? I'm seeing a big drop in my area.

I haven't really noticed a difference in 2009 finds. I have never really found a ton of them to begin with but when I get $5 in pennies from the bank I always find one or two.

I have noticed that I don't find as many. I used to find 20-25 in a box. Now I usually find less than 15 in a box.

Hunter612: have you noticed the drop in finding 2009 cents & dimes? I have, in some of the recent dime boxes of late, I have found more AG Rosie's than 2009. The same with the 2009 cents, fewer @ fewer.

Yes. I find about half as many 2009 cents as I used to, and I rarely find 2009 nickels or dimes anymore.

I'm glad that back when the four 2009 cent series were coming out that I was able to get at least one BU box of each. Now they are listed at $12-15/roll. I'm still saving all I come across.

How do you go about asking for the Teller Tray Halves? I've very surprised you got a silver that way. Nice!

You ask the teller for halves and be sure to buy them all!

The tellers at my pickup bank keep their coin trays where I can see them so when I see silver I ask if I can buy the half dollars in their tray. I have managed to get 3 40%ers this way. I also ask for customer wrapped halves. I have found 1 40%er going through customer wrapped halves.
