Things seem to be a little slow right now, so I'm posting my beloved hunting buddy. Please share yours as well!! Her name is Honey, and she goes with me everywhere... we hunt artifacts, sheds, mushrooms, metal detect, canoe, smallmouth and catfishing... Shes not a "hunting dog" by some peoples standards, but I beg to differ... She is is truely one of my best friends and definatly my best hunting buddy. If you wish, please post your dog or cat, wife, bff or whatever your proud of and simply enjoy spending time with, after all thats what makes it great!! I can't take the pups with me, either. Oh they wanna go alright! Red ants mostly but small dogs can get into big trouble with other wildlife.

I was really hoping someone would post a feline friend!! I love cats(we have about a dozen), dogs and pretty much all animals. We will take in and spoil any critter that happens to come to our farm.
That is one beautiful cat, love those eyes!!
Thanks for posting,
BCI

This is my house buddy. I'm just as close to him as I am my dog, but cats aren't quite as loyal outside. He will not walk with me, he's like "peace, see you in a while". His name is Wizzelpuss and he is 12 years old. Handsome dude to be that old, huh? I found him in a dumpster when he was a kitten. Sorry as heck to throw a perfectly good cat away. I have a soft spot for animals, and all animals like me. Even this one!

This raccoon was found about two days after birth. She would walk with me. Great pet, but temperamental. Not the pet for just any one, but I raised her from birth. She got bit by a black widow multiple times and died a long sad death.

Handsome indeed N.C., thanks for posting Wizzlepuss. I have a very soft spot for animals as well. Many time I've brought home deer, turkeys, coon and many other things that were hit by a car and along side the road. I bring them home, put them in my barn and do what I can. I figure these animals should at least go peacefully, not scared along side the road. All summer long I will pull over on my road to set snakes and turtles into the ditch before they get run over while sunning themselves. Thats no way for these creatures to go.
Great thing you did with that coon, very sad though.

That's funny, I stop and pull snapping turtles out of the road as well. I have a cousin that is a really pretty prissy looking girl. Not just saying that because she resembles me either. Lol! Any way, she was on a first date once, and while driving, she asked the dude to stop and turn around. He did, and she hopped out and drug a Huge snapping turtle out of the road. Freaked that dude out. The raccoon, I figured would never survive after falling from its nest. In no way would my nature allow me to abandon it to die alone and cold. Picked her up, googled raccoon, and four years later had the sweetest little vicious thing on earth.

"Dingo Bob"...he would chase anything you throw through the depths of hell itself. And he sure likes to dig. If only he knew where.

Thanks TN, Shotze is one fine looking dog, with a well deserved meal at 13. Sorry to here about your cat, but 15 years, thats pretty good, just went through the same thing with one of my indoor cats at 17 years. So sad, wish they could live forever....

Zeus must be a white German Shepard?? My dog Honey is G.S. and Heeler mix? We have a lot of dogs and cats dropped off along our road and we pretty much take them all in and they get spoiled here... Love those German Shepards...You have some great looking canines!!! Thanks so much for sharing!!!

I agree Larson!! It reminds me of when I get home from work and how comforting it is to have these guys waiting for me!!!! Or maybe they just want to be fed??? LOL

You gotta just love the pets. They say if you want to know what true love really is do this.

Lock your dog with your significant other in the trunk of your car for one hour.

Then open the trunk and see who is glad to see you. :laughing7:

My dog is a versatile hunter as well. I only hunt quail, but have used her to track deer as well. I had to stop deer hunting on my own property due to cry baby deer hunters around here. She will also retrieve ducks. Your dog is a similar breed to mine. The Griffon, Drahthaar, and wire hair are all hard breeds to distinguish. What kind is yours? Here is my "Birdy" again!

I also have a German Shepard, but can't get a pic of her. Just a blurr. Lol! Geez I love my animals.

Thanks, RW!!

Yes he's a white German Shepard. He's only 10 months old so he loves to run around all crazy!!

This is what he does to the other dogs lol
