Congrats on an excellent day, McD! A handful of gas/battery money AND a gold ring! Add a silver and a cool token...your 4 basic food groups! Keep posting the cool stuff...Ddf.
Great token, enjoyed the history.
Happy you got a silver out of the coinstar...
that reject slot always keeps me guessing, mostly empty but every once and not very often you see that.
Congrats on the gold ring as well.
Great finds out the Coinstar. The token is really a great find. That would make anyone's day for sure. Congrats on the gold ring couldn't happen to a nice detectorist. Hope to see you in the field again soon. It's suppose to get quite cold before the weekend, hoping to see you out there for a couple of hunts before the end of the year.
I also look under the Coin Star machines, got a Silver dime bout a year ago.
For me all Found/ Dug $ is saved money...(for the past 5 years at-least).
There are Publix Stores here & many in Florida (founded there I think) but they use a different machine looks like a printer.
Has a reject slot but out of 50 checks only got 1 Cent .
Think there is an internal reject slot as well, I did go to a Publix that had a different type of one of these machines ; it was taller, & I got about 4-6 coins out of it's slot.
flat buttons are 'Rare' here in NW Atlanta , I have dug about '5' in 20 years. 4 from 1 site.
I love the look of your most recent.

That ring 'if it's Filled with Gold it should be worth some $. LOL Still looks nice tho.
Davers
Thx Davers! Yep, I'll save it too, whether found or dug. That little signet is gold-filled but I didn't know that when I dug it, just had that "all gold" look out of the ground.
Keep checkin' the coinstars and I'll wait to hear of your next silver
Thx Art! Sunday and Monday were good detecting days; got a little time in each day. Looks like the big chill is on its way so I'm bringing the F75 in from the cold. Might get out Sunday PM if it warms. Looking to get into the woods.
