Hunting the back?

Somebody told me that as far as dry sand beach hunting goes, it's always better to hunt towards the back. The theory is that many people set up back there and take off all of their jewelry, watches, etc. and forget to put them back on before shaking off the towel. As a result, the jewelry concentration towards the back is supposedly higher. Is this true to your knowledge? Thanks in advance!

It depends on the people. Some people forget while others remember. I have tried this, didn't find much. Hope it works for you! Maybe you could find a 18k gold/diamond ring!!! GL & HH!

If you go and watch the beach you will see that the people that go to the back are drunks and people who want to be a loan. 90% of the people are with in 30 feet of the water. On my beach the back of the beach is where travel to get to where they want to set up. Most of what you are finding in the back of the beach is what people forgot to put up or on and is falling out or off there chairs and bags.
