Hunting the sandbars

Has anyone ever tried hunting some of the local sandbars in the Saint Pete, Florida area

Yes! Never had much luck on the bars in St. Pete. Did much better in the troughs at low tide!

I have one in an out-of-the-way spot I've been watching, and it's getting lots of play, so I'll give it a try

I had a good friend that lived on the Gulf Coast in Fl. years back and after any storm he would go out in his boat and hit around the beaches ! He was right there and for him it was the right thing to do !

I'm in Florida, so there's plenty to hunt for
