Spot on, there should always be a reference item and pictures from all angles. especially if member is asking questions or item is unknown.

I'm guilty of sometimes posting up a blurry picture. Heck it looked great on the phone screen and then when I reviewed later on the post up on the desk top-it sucked.
As we age the eyes aren't as crisp-and having glasses that are so yellowed/scratched/and dated I often struggle to see the coin date.
I take a photo-then enlarge-then see what it is.
Jeweller's loops are my friend.
Some camera's are just great at close up photos-some just suck.
