What's new

I am publicly challenging the professional cryptological community to examine and verify (or refute) my decryption of the Beale Ciphers.

So it’s gone?! The C2 solve is a bogus one??
Yes!
I will put it this way:

If I had a vast treasure and wanted to create a cipher to provide only a few people with the information needed to find it, I would implement a simpler cipher as a security measure. This way, if the cipher fell into the wrong hands, those individuals would decode the easier cipher and be misled for 200 years before anyone figured it out. The easy cipher would be a false trail, while the real one would be just beneath it. As you decode the cipher, Beale instructs you on what changes to make in order to complete the decoding process!

It's simply a layered cipher with a false lead, or a nested cipher that includes embedded instructions. The combination serves as deliberate misdirection with a strong underlying cipher! People tend to be lazy and will consistently choose the easier option!
