Ok ... well maybe not ... but I just found my first Axe Head !!! So I'm feeling very excited. Found it at about 3 feet down from ground level in the middle of my 1800's foundation in the woods. Found alot of pottery and nails as well . I seemed to be digging in something that was a circle made of bricks. On the curved out rd leading up the Mountain I found what I think is a jacknife but the none metal part of the handle has disinegrated with time. I haven't determined if it actually folded at one time or if it was just a bowie type little knife.

I actually only did 3 full buckets full of digging but brought home over 40 items & shards of pottery.

Steak , Tator Salad , Mac Salad , Brownies , & Sunkist ......

It was a very good day IMO.

If anyone wants to see my axe head I can email pics but haven't figured message board pic posting yet.

you need a photo host like photobucket.com they are free. setup a free account. then download the photo into your account.
next click on the lower line under the photo it will turn blue. then right click on the blue line and click on copy. run your mouse under the text in your treasurenet ad/post and left click, then right click and left click on paste. your photo will appear in your ad/post. I'm half crocked so if that is too hard email me at willimcp@hotmail.com and I will post your photo.

If you download any pictures onto your computer and you have a paint program or any other type of photo program, then you can downsize them and load them without the use of photobucket or any other type of photosharing site. Just mess around with the downsizing to fit the maximum and your on your way.
