I try to dig everything, you just never know.
I dug a lot of foil and pull tabs last weekend, just to see what would happen. It was frustrating and difficult, but I won’t soon forget the 2 gold rings I found. Fear not, the shovel will set you free.

I'd rather dig iron out of a cellar hole than dig trash in the sand.
Absolutely! But.... if you're looking for gold, you can disc iron. If looking for coins, same thing. I dig all "beeps" (including trash) because it doesn't hurt to do some cleaning for next time at that spot. ╦╦ÇIf your going to dig every target wouldnt it be wise to have a detector that just does one beep for every type of metal , no discrimination or readout ?
